Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time school nursing position in Lakewood, NJ. This role is ideal for a nurse who is comfortable providing care for students with complex medical needs and working independently in a school setting.

Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing care and support to students throughout the school day
  • Manage and monitor students with complex medical needs
  • Provide care for students with G-tubes, trachs, seizures, cerebral palsy, and other medical conditions
  • Administer medications and treatments as needed
  • Monitor students for changes in condition and respond appropriately
  • Communicate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers as needed
  • Maintain accurate nursing documentation and health records

Qualifications

  • Active New Jersey RN license
  • School nursing or pediatric nursing experience required
  • Experience caring for medically complex students preferred
  • Must be comfortable with G-tube care, trach care, seizure management, and students with cerebral palsy
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and confidently in a school environment

Full-Time | Contracted School-Year Position | Benefits Available
