Monitors and reviews the various functions carried out by the lower level nurses. Reviews record keeping functions. Serves as lead worker to lower-level nurses. Minimum Qualifications Requires (A) graduation from an approved nursing education program resulting in an associate or diploma degree in nursing and three (3) years of progressively responsible professional nursing experience OR (B) a bachelor’s degree in nursing and two (2) years of professional experience OR (C) a master’s degree in nursing.  Requires licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Illinois. Preferred Qualifications Prefers at least two (2) years of nursing experience in a correctional setting. Prefers at least two (2) years of experience working in the mental health. Prefers at least two (2) years of experience problem solving in a nursing position. Prefers at least two (2) years of experience working on an interdisciplinary team. Prefers at least two (2) years of working experience in a leadership role. Conditions Of Employment Requires current cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification.
