About the Role:

We are seeking a highly qualified Clinical Nurse Director for our Med Surg Telemetry department at Orange County Global Medical Center. As the Clinical Nurse Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the department, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety. You will work closely with the medical staff to develop and implement policies and procedures that promote excellence in patient care. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing the department budget, staffing, and scheduling to ensure optimal efficiency and productivity.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current RN license in the state of California
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in Med Surg Telemetry
  • Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in a healthcare setting
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Nursing or related field
  • Certification in Nursing Administration or related field
  • Experience with electronic medical records and healthcare technology
  • Experience with process improvement initiatives

Skills:

As the Clinical Nurse Director for our Med Surg Telemetry department, you will utilize your strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to oversee the daily operations of the department. You will work closely with the medical staff to ensure effective communication and coordination of care, and you will provide mentorship and guidance to the nursing staff to promote professional growth and development. Additionally, you will utilize your clinical expertise to develop and implement policies and procedures that promote excellence in patient care and safety.
