About the Role

As the Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON), you will play a critical leadership role in managing the nursing department’s daily operations, ensuring high-quality patient care, and maintaining compliance with all state and federal regulations.

What You’ll Do

  • Oversee & support nursing staff to ensure the highest standards of resident care.
  • Coordinate infection control programs to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Educate & mentor nursing staff to enhance professional development.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, nursing standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage daily staffing processes to ensure proper coverage.
  • Be available for on-call support (24-hour availability as needed).
  • Lead and support hiring, onboarding, and training initiatives.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate medical records.

What We’re Looking For

  • Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing with a current North Carolina license.
  • At least three (3) years of nursing experience.
  • 1-2 years of management or supervisory experience (preferred).
  • Active CPR certification.
  • Strong leadership & communication skills to collaborate across departments.
