Position Summary 

As a CNA, you will provide hands-on care and daily support to residents while helping maintain a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment. You will work closely with nurses and other members of the care team to support residents’ physical, emotional, and daily living needs. 

Responsibilities

-Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and meals 

-Provide care with dignity, patience, and respect 

-Monitor and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff 

-Support residents’ comfort, safety, and overall well-being 

-Maintain accurate communication with nurses and team members 

-Follow facility policies, care plans, and infection control practices 

Qualifications 

-Current CNA certification in Pennsylvania preferred or required as applicable 

-Long-term care experience is a plus, but not required for the right candidate 

-Compassionate, reliable, and resident-focused 

-Strong communication and teamwork skills

More about our team Our Transitional Care Unit (TCU) is a 30-bed, hospital-based, short-term rehabilitation unit located at Memorial Medical Center. TCU features 24 patient rooms, including 18 private and 6 semi-private accommodations. Patients typically stay 10-12 days to recover strength and independence following surgery or acute illness. Common care needs include post-operative recovery, wound care, IV therapy, chronic disease management, pain management, and education for new diagnoses.
