  • Penn Medicine Princeton Health (PMPH) is seeking a full time RN (Registered Nurse) to work the day shift within Princeton House Behavioral Health (PHBH). This position is within Wing 1 (Voluntary Psych/Dual diagnosis for psych) with 14 beds.
  • We understand the unique recovery challenges of people with co-occurring disorders and treat both conditions at the same time. That’s why people with both a mental health and substance use disorder receive specialized care at Princeton House. Outcomes show that this approach reduces the risk of relapse and improves the chances of long-term recovery.

 

  • Location: Princeton House Behavioral Health (905 Herrontown Road Princeton NJ). 

 

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develops and maintains a plan of nursing care based on goals derived from identified needs; revises the patients individualized plan of care as indicated
  • Implements individualized nursing plan of care, consistent with established policies, procedures, and protocols
  • Evaluates and documents patient responses to nursing care, and participates in evaluating and improving the delivery of care on the unit
  • Demonstrates accuracy in entering medication orders on the computer and medication administration
  • Provides appropriate coordination of care and intervention to patients undergoing a psychiatric or medical emergency

 

 Scheduling Requirements:

  • Five day shifts (7am-3:30pm) a week.
  • Every other weekend requirement

What We Require for this Role:

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required, or in pursuit of
  • A registered nurse with an Associate’s Degree with greater than 5 years of clinical experience in a clinical specialty may be considered.

 

Related Work Experience

  • 15 months of RN experience required


LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIREMENT

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
  • Active RN NJ license required.
