Responsibilities

Our Clinical Nurses (RN) in Outpatient Chemotherapy Infusion independently provide care to adult Oncology patients with a focus in medical and surgical oncologic specialties such as breast, GYN and neuroendocrine tumors.  Working with a dedicated team, the RN provides evidence-based, high quality care, including patient assessment and treatment, and serves as a resource for other team members.

 

This position is 80 hours biweekly, Days - No Weekends


Requirements

  • Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and successfully completed the State Board of Nursing Licensure Exam
  • BSN Preferred
  • Must obtain 20 Contact hours per year, fifty percent of which must be clinically focused. Academic course credits may be used on a 1:1 credit hour exchange
  • Must possess 1 year of current clinical experience
  • Current Healthcare Provider CPR/BLS upon hire
  • ONS (Oncology Nursing Society) Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certification within 1 year of hire; and OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse) certification within 30 months (2.5 years) of hire.
