
Medical-Surgical Unit (MSU) Registered Nurse (RN) Charge, Full-Time Nights
Position Highlights:
- Position: MSU Nurse, Charge

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in the medical-surgical unit.
- Administer medications, perform wound care, and carry out various medical procedures as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and responses to treatments.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team, including physicians, therapists, and other nurses, to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Educate patients about their medical conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
- Use critical thinking skills to assess patient conditions, anticipate potential complications, and initiate appropriate interventions.
- Make sound clinical decisions based on a combination of evidence-based practice and experience.
Requirements:
- RN License
- Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience
Compensation:
- The anticipated compensation range for this position is $38.00–$43.70 per hour, commensurate with qualifications, education, experience, and other applicable factors. This position is exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
- Bonus: $30,000 for night shift (for RN’s with 2 or more years of experience)
- Additional compensation may be available in the form of discretionary incentive or other compensation programs. Any such additional compensation is not guaranteed and is determined at the sole discretion of the organization based on applicable program terms, individual and/or organizational performance, and other eligibility requirements.

- Relocation: Must relocate to Grand Junction, CO 81505 before starting work.
