Monday - Friday: 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM

Saturday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Sunday: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Job Summary:

Fulton County Health Center is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Medical Assistant (MA) to join our FCHC Urgent Care team. In this role, you will assist in providing exceptional patient care by documenting patient encounters, escorting patients to exam rooms, taking and recording vital signs, and preparing for and assisting with exams, procedures, and wound/incision dressing changes. You will also handle patient phone calls and communicate with other offices and facilities on behalf of the patient.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Document patient encounters as directed by the provider
  • Escort/assist patients to rooms
  • Take and record patient vitals
  • Prepare patients for exams and procedures
  • Assist with wound and incision dressing changes
  • Take patient phone calls and communicate with other healthcare facilities

Requirements

  • Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Medical Assistant (MA)
  • Previous experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) software is required

  • Excellent customer service skills
