Under general direction and in accordance with hospital standards and policies, the Staff Nurse will be responsible for coordinating and evaluating nursing care for patients undergoing procedures in the Heart & Vascular Center and Radiology Departments. This includes areas such as Interventional Radiology, Cardiac Cath Lab, and Stress Testing. As a Staff Nurse, you must be flexible and adaptable to work variable hours based on patient schedules. In addition to call time, you may also be required to start early or stay late as patient needs dictate. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Requirements Current RN license from the State of Ohio Board of Nursing. Specialization in a cardiovascular-related specialty is preferred. Ability to provide nursing care requiring specialized knowledge, judgment, and skill derived from biological, physical, behavioral, social, and nursing sciences. Completion of ACLS and BLS certifications. Demonstrated critical care knowledge and skills, particularly in cardiovascular anatomy and physiology. Proficiency in interpreting cardiac rhythm strips. High-level proficiency in obtaining and maintaining peripheral vascular access. Strong professional conduct, communication, and interpersonal skills. CCU (Coronary Care Unit) experience is required.

Description Operating Room - Registered Nurse (RN) Department : Nursing - Surgery Status Hours : Full-time, 72 hours bi-weekly Shift : 1st Shift ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Job Summary: Fulton County Health Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team. This is a full-time, first-shift position with a bi-weekly commitment of 72 hours. The role includes participation in a call rotation, and candidates must be able to respond and arrive at the facility within 30 minutes when on call. Flexibility in job assignments is required to meet staffing and scheduling needs. Key Responsibilities : Deliver patient care through the nursing process while adhering to professional nursing standards and FCHC policies. Direct and guide the activities of other nursing personnel in the Operating Room. Adjust to staffing changes and patient care needs as required. Serve a diverse patient population, including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients. In this role, you will assist in the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of the Occupational Medicine Provider. Additionally, you will play a critical role in Infection Control, including tracking, reporting, and follow-up care for employees and patients. This position also involves performing drug screenings and obtaining bloodwork for both employees and patients. Key Responsibilities: Assist the Occupational Medicine Provider during patient examinations and treatments. Support employee wellness programs, including tracking illnesses and coordinating annual training and testing. Assist with Infection Control activities such as tracking, reporting, and conducting follow-up with employees and patients.
