4. Responds to patient teaching opportunities to enhance patient compliance and safety.
5. Identify family involvement in patient compliance.
6. Performs all LPN direct nursing care duties within licensed scope of practice, assess patient concerns, including type and level of care needed through triage.
7. Participates in problem solving and decision making. Acts to ensure staffing and patient needs are met.
8. Obtain medical information from patients. Take height, weight, blood pressure, and vital signs of the patient. Screen patient for chief complaint and pertinent health data. Record data gathered in patient’s medical record and communicate data gathered to physician.
9. Works closely with office assistant and physician to facilitate patient's clinic visit.  Escorts patients to and from exam room. Assists physician with examination if needed. Provides emotional support to patients and/or families. Assists with scheduling when necessary.
10. Responsible for coordination of medical supply orders for clinic. Exercises proper stewardship through the appropriate use of supplies, equipment, and time.
11. Provides on-going feedback to clinical support staff concerning job performance.  Coaches and counsels employees under direction of manager.
12. Serves as a mentor for all clinical staff to help foster staff development.
12. Assists in training LPN staff.
