Location: De Soto, KS 

Soliant is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide long-term leave coverage in a school setting. This position supports students with disabilities who receive special education services in a center-based special education classroom. The assignment may also include providing medical care during students’ bus or van rides to school.

Position Details

  • Assignment Dates: ASAP through May 2027

  • Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, and Friday

  • Hours: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM

  • Setting: Center-based special education classroom

Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing care and health services to assigned students throughout the school day.

  • Support students’ individual health needs and follow established care plans.

  • Collaborate with classroom staff and the school team to support student health and participation.

  • Maintain accurate nursing documentation and communicate relevant health updates.

  • Provide medical support during bus or van transportation to school, if assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

  • Valid Registered Nurse license in KS or multi-state.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience working with children.

  • Experience in a school or special education setting.
