Responsibilities:

Provide personal care and assistance to clients, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Assist with essential daily living activities, such as meal preparation, medication management, and mobility assistance
Observe and report changes in client condition, ensuring timely notification of healthcare professionals
Promote a safe and healthy environment for clients, adhering to all infection control and safety protocols
Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, families, and healthcare teams
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans

Requirements:

Current certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
High school diploma or equivalent required
Ability to work flexible long shifts, including evenings and weekends
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate and empathetic approach to client care
Ability to lift and transfer clients as needed
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if applicable)

How you make a difference The Certified Medication Technician is responsible for administering prescribed medications under the supervision of a registered nurse. This role includes documenting medication administration, adhering to infection control protocols, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The technician participates in audits and data collection to support performance improvement efforts. They monitor for adverse reactions and report them promptly while maintaining medication supply levels. The technician also ensures patient confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations. Key Responsibilities Administer medications under RN supervision in compliance with policy and regulations Document medication administration and reasons for non-administration in the MAR Follow infection control procedures and safety protocols during medication delivery Participate in audits and report adverse reactions to supervisors Maintain medication supplies and uphold HIPAA confidentiality standards Additional Details Must hold CNA license and Med Tech certification or willing to obtain prior to hire Qualifications & Requirements EDUCATION High School graduate or equivalent.
