Primary Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate | Bridge Team

Providence Medical Group (PMG) is seeking an experienced Primary Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate to join our Bridge Team, an innovative group of clinicians focused on expanding patient access and supporting our primary care teams throughout Oregon.

Bridge Team providers help bridge the gap in care for patients who are waiting to establish with a new primary care provider, providing support from the time their new patient appointment is scheduled until they transition to their new PCP.

This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced primary care clinician who enjoys variety, values team-based care and is comfortable adapting to changing patient and clinic needs. You’ll work within an integrated care model that includes physicians, advanced practice providers, behavioral health, registered nurses, and a dedicated operational support team.

Position Highlights:

  • Part-time, 0.8 FTE

  • Remote/virtual clinical work. Must live within reasonable driving distance of the Portland metro area and be willing to travel to Portland for limited meetings and training.

  • Provide virtual direct patient care

  • Opportunity to fulfill primary care needs without maintaining a traditional patient panel

  • Collaborative, team-based environment focused on improving access and supporting continuity of care

  • Opportunity to make an impact across multiple Providence primary care teams

What We’re Looking For:

  • Nurse practitioner or physician associate with at least three years of post-graduate primary care experience

  • Five or more years of primary care experience preferred

  • Comfortable caring for a broad range of primary care needs

  • Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently within a collaborative care model

  • Comfortable working in a virtual environment and managing indirect patient care

  • Adaptable clinician who enjoys variety and working across different clinical needs and workflows

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive compensation

  • Signing bonus and relocation assistance available

  • Continuing education support

  • Comprehensive benefits package including PTO, paid parental leave, retirement benefits, and more, with no waiting period

  • Malpractice liability insurance provided

  • Eligible employment may qualify for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF)

Why the Bridge Team?

The Bridge Team offers a different approach to primary care practice. Instead of building and maintaining your own traditional panel, you’ll help increase access, support established clinic teams, and step into areas where your clinical expertise can have an immediate impact.

For a clinician who values flexibility, variety, virtual care, and collaborative practice, this role offers an opportunity to remain closely connected to patient care while working within a broader team-based model.
