Key Qualifications:

  • Valid LPN or LVN license in Illinois
  • Clinical experience in a school or pediatric setting strongly preferred, but candidates with robust general clinical backgrounds are also considered

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Administer basic first aid for minor injuries and support student safety throughout the school day
  • Assist with routine student health needs and respond to non-urgent medical concerns
  • Administer medications in accordance with scope of practice and school protocols
  • Maintain up-to-date, detailed student health records, including immunizations and compliance documentation
  • Participate in immunization tracking and health compliance initiatives
  • Ensure required documentation is completed accurately and in a timely fashion
  • Provide overall support to daily health office operations as an integral member of the health team
