Penn Medicine Women's & Babies Hospital offers a unique practice environment where nurses play a critical role in caring for women and newborns across the surgical continuum.As a Perioperative Services RN, you will provide expert care in a collaborative setting that differs from a traditional acute care hospital. Because our hospital operates independently from a main hospital campus and does not have on-site critical care units or a traditional main operating room, our nursing team must be prepared to respond quickly and confidently to urgent patient needs. PACU nurses play an expanded role in managing higher-acuity situations and serving as a critical resource during emergencies.
