American Traveler is hiring an RNFA for the Operating Room, requiring robotics and first assist experience with a CT or compact RN license. Job details: - Acute Hospital OR setting at a Magnet-designated teaching hospital with 186 staffed beds - Specializes in robotic surgery including Da Vinci and Da Vinci Xi systems, total joints, spine, plastics, gynecology, general surgery, bariatrics, and urology - Day shift schedule, 4x10 hour shifts (7:30am-5:30pm), 4 days per week - Call responsibilities 1-2 times per week until 8pm - Weekend call coverage (Sunday) every 2nd or 3rd weekend from 7am-1pm - Uses Epic EMR Requirements: - Active RN license (CT or Compact) required - Current certifications: BLS required; ACLS and CRNFA preferred - Minimum 3 years of RNFA experience required - Robotics experience required; Da Vinci and total joints, spine, or plastics experience preferred - Trauma Level I or II experience preferred - Surgical first assist skills including suturing all wound layers, tissue manipulation, clamping/cauterizing vessels, and tying/ligating - Experience with aseptic technique and isolation precautions/PPE - 1 professional reference required - Flu vaccine required with no declinations accepted - COVID vaccine and booster required with religious/medical exemptions only Additional information: - Provide first assist services across a range of surgical specialties including general surgery, gynecology, neuro/spine, ortho/total joints, plastics, robotics, urology, and vascular - First assist duties include tourniquet application, securing drainage systems, tissue cutting, suctioning/irrigation, and wound dressing - Free parking available on site - Local candidates not accepted; candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the hospital - Previous travelers or staff must have been gone from the facility for at least 2 years to be eligible to return - Up to 7 days of RTO can be auto-approved - First-time travelers not accepted for this position

The salary range for the role is $64.2353 - $64.2353 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and operational need.
