Resident Assistant / Attendant or CNA - NIGHT SHIFT

NHC Place Assisted Living at Cool Springs is currently seeking Resident Assistants (RA’s) or Certified Nurse Aides (CNA) to work in our Assisted Living on our Night Shift (7p-7a).  Excellent pay is based on experience.  

This position requires a nurturing disposition and desire to help our residents. Applicant must be able to connect with residents and family members while putting the resident’s needs first. We are looking for RA’s or CNA's willing to go above and beyond and to support the mission, vision and values of NHC.  This is a great opportunity to work in a exceptional environment caring for our greatest generation.

Essential Job Functions

  • Provide direct and indirect resident care
  • Assist with light housekeeping and personal hygiene
  • Escort residents to meals, activities and other areas within the community

Thank you for your interest in taking the state certified nurse aide training program . Our program is a fast-paced class that is completed in two weeks. To be considered for the class, you must provide the following at the time of your interview: Completed Application Valid Photo Identification Social Security Card Since the class is only two weeks, no absences or tardiness is permitted. You must maintain a grade average of an 85 to continue in the course. You will be required to purchase one set of scrubs to wear every day to class and clinical. We will run a criminal background check as well as consult the Tennessee and/or National Abuse Registry for Children and Adults. No one with a felony conviction, certain misdemeanor charges, and/or found on the abuse registry can be admitted to the class.
