The Licensed Practical Nurse will be responsible for, but not limited to:

Day-to-day coordination and oversight of the nursing process for residents assigned to his or her care.
Direct and indirect provision of care according to each resident's nursing and medical plan of care and in accordance with state and federal regulations and accepted nursing standards of practice.
Supervises administratively in the building assigned, Certified Nursing Assistants and licensed nurses of all staff of his/her respective discipline.
Supervision follows all accepted state and federal guidelines for the respective discipline.

Position Requirements

Education Graduate from credentialed school of nursing
Certification/Licensure: Currently licensed as a nurse in the state of practice.

The LPN plays a key role in client care through nursing assessments, medication administration, and collaboration with the broader clinical team. Administer medications and monitor for therapeutic effects and side effects. Deliver care in alignment with detoxification protocols. Complete COWS and CIWA assessments in accordance with established protocols. Provide education to clients regarding medications and health conditions. Support medical providers during assessments and medication management appointments. Maintain accurate documentation while upholding strict confidentiality. Ensure medical equipment is functioning properly and safely. Support overall facility operations with professionalism and compassion. Perform other nursing-related duties as assigned.
