Are you a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with an interest in wound care and skin integrity? Pine Grove Manor is seeking a dedicated Wound Care / Treatment Nurse to coordinate wound care services, monitor residents' skin health, and help prevent pressure injuries in our skilled nursing facility.

What You'll Do

  • Coordinate and oversee the facility's wound care and skin management program.

  • Lead weekly wound care rounds and collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals.

  • Assess, monitor, and document wounds, pressure ulcers, and other skin conditions.

  • Measure wounds and track changes in skin integrity to monitor treatment progress.

  • Review resident care plans and recommend appropriate wound care interventions.

  • Coordinate wound care treatments and follow up on physician orders.

  • Maintain accurate wound assessments, treatment records, and required clinical documentation.

  • Educate nursing staff on wound care practices, pressure injury prevention, and skin management.

  • Monitor completion of Braden Scale assessments and help ensure appropriate preventive interventions are implemented.

  • Identify opportunities to improve wound care practices and reduce the risk of pressure injuries.

Qualifications

  • Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Missouri.

  • Previous nursing experience preferred.

  • Wound care, treatment nurse, skilled nursing, or long-term care experience is a plus.

  • One year of nursing management or supervisory experience preferred.

  • Strong clinical assessment, documentation, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Commitment to resident safety and quality care.
