EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing (RN/LPN/LVN) program and successfully pass the corresponding state licensing test. -ORB. All Sono Bello Surgical Technicians should be a graduate of a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Programs (CAAHEP) or an Accrediting Bureau for Health Education Schools (ABHES) accredited surgical technology program (or a currently or previously credentialed surgical technologist). - OR - All Sono Bello Medical Assistants (MAs) must be qualified by education and clinical experience or other training to provide patient care services in a clinical or supportive role. MA’s provide services only under the supervision of a member of the medical staff. Credentialing is duty dependent and varies by training, scope of duties and location of practice. It is the responsibility of the certified personnel to be compliant with all requirements for certification renewal. Relevant experience in clinical training and/or the OR setting. RN/LPN/LVN is responsible for maintaining the required elements for successful license renewal. Experience in Joint Commissions, AAAASF or AAAHC accreditation a plus. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Demonstrates knowledge of the organization’s emergency operations plan and the role of Clinical Trainer in an emergency/disaster situation. Applies knowledge of policies and procedures related to OSHA standards including, but not limited to: infection control, risk management, hazardous communications and environmental safety. Applies knowledge of standard precautions, hand hygiene, transmission-based precautions and personal protective equipment Executes and ensures strict HIPAA protocol. Planning, designing, measuring, assessing, improving new or revised processes of patient care and service. Comprehends Sono Bello’s electronic tracking tools and databases, including, but not limited to: Sono Bello intranet found at mysonobello.com, Zenoti, and the Manuals Portal (policies, procedures and associated forms). A Clinical Trainer must be well-informed on updated content and materials therein. Establishes and maintains a secure knowledge and understanding of ALL policies, procedures and associated forms. Policies, procedures and forms are subject to change and a Clinical Trainer must be current on all changes regarding forms located on the Sono Bello Manuals Portal. Such forms include but not limited to: Informed Consent, Medical History, Physical Exam, and Medical Clearance. Assumes responsibility for the successful completion of initial and annual training requirements. Attends and participates in scheduled clinic and corporate meetings as required. Providing training and instruction regarding the RN, LPN/LVN, Medical Assistant, and Surgical Technologist clinic job responsibilities. Providing clinical support to centers who are short staffed or have new hires and require additional assistance to maintain the patient schedule. Responsible for facilitating consistent process execution of clinic staff among all Sono Bello clinic locations within the Operational Business Unit. This position requires travel up to 90% based on business needs. Responsible for providing hands-on, performance oriented training for new hire clinical staff on essential duties and responsibilities as outlined in the Registered Nurse, LPN/LVN, ST, and MA Job Descriptions. Document all training and maintain training documentation for each member of the Sono Bello clinical staff. Maintain availability to open new clinics including training and orientation of new staff and setting up the clinic. Prepare and distribute Clinic Staff and Center Review form(s) within required timing of each clinic visit. Conduct an Environment of Care inspection and submit to Quality Reporting for each clinic visit, as required. Be available on an ad hoc basis for revisits to clinics to provide remedial training of clinical staff as directed by senior APPC and Operations Management. Serve as a key training resource to nursing and other clinic staff regarding laser safety and maintenance, clinical staff responsibilities and Sono Bello policies and procedures. Responsible for interviewing and approving clinical staff (as needed) as an ambassador of APPC. Assist with annual reviews for clinical staff job performance as needed. Assist in preparing for and hosting AAAHC surveys. Help facilitate biweekly Sono Bello RN calls, as applicable. Provide input to Director of Clinical Operations, VP of Clinical Operations, and Chief Medical Officer on clinical staff training deficiencies, negative and positive trends, and suggest remedial action. Work with Operations Management to ensure strong teamwork, morale and communication. Elevate clinic concerns and issues to appropriate Corporate leadership. WORK ENVIRONMENT The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate as compared to a private office with light traffic and computer printers. May work in remote setting. Administrative & Operational Track and manage medical supplies and equipment. Use Sono Bello tools (Manuals Portal, QM, etc.) for compliance and documentation. Attend staff meetings, trainings, and complete all required certifications. Assist with photography uploads, appointment scheduling, and general clinic duties.
