Qualifications Licenses or Certifications: Current Arkansas Driver’s License. Current Handle with Care and CPR certifications, or must obtain within 3 weeks of hire, offered onsite. Competency in Activity Specialist duties and skills completed onsite. Skills and Abilities: Working knowledge and experience with therapeutic recreation activity process, including conducting activity groups. Must have the visual acuity to identify, instruct, and evaluate patient’s skills, affect, needs, safety, and progress. Excellent verbal and written skills are required to communicate and interact effectively with patients, families, physicians, hospital staff, and the public.
