Key Responsibilities as Caregiver (CNA/CHHA): Assistance with Daily Living: Provide support with bathing, grooming, dressing, transferring, eating, toileting, and other daily activities. Emotional Support: Offer emotional and social support to residents, fostering a warm and caring environment. Service Plan Adherence: Follow residents’ service plans to ensure their specific care needs are met. Training & Mentorship: Assist in training new caregivers and serve as a resource for fellow staff. Care Coordination: Review resident care schedules daily for accuracy and completion, ensuring all needs are met. Documentation: Adhere to department documentation standards and inform supervisors of any resident issues or concerns. Safety & Compliance: Familiarize yourself with emergency procedures and health regulations to maintain a safe environment. Desired Characteristics as Caregiver (CNA/CHHA): Compassionate Nature: A genuine desire to help and improve residents' lives through compassionate care.
