The Medical Assistant (MA) is responsible for delivering a consistent Perfect Visit experience in ZoomCare clinics, through outstanding customer service and attention to clinical detail. The first week will be at your primary location and partially remote, the second and third weeks include traveling to multiple clinics in the area. Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or GED equivalent, required. Bachelor’s degree, preferred. 1+ years of Medical Assistant experience. Proficient in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, AthenaOne and other relevant software applications. Excel in a fast-paced work environment, thriving under pressure and time constraints. Performs other duties assigned Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Graduate of a certified program for Medical Assistants Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) Phlebotomy training; Phlebotomist license and work experience, if required by practice Minimum of one year of recent experience working in a medical office/facility Experience with practice specialty Able to partner with teams in small to large practice groups Certified Medical Assistant Preferred Qualifications Considerable skill in communicating verbally, determining priorities, and in organizing work; ability to maintain an organized, alphabetized filing system General working knowledge of PC: Excel, Microsoft Word for Windows, and EPIC Computerized appointment scheduling experience Ability to handle stress in a fast-paced environment Considerable skill in handling sensitive public contacts with discretion, tact and courtesy when dealing with patients, coworkers and physicians Physical ability to perform stocking, lifting and transporting supplies and instruments Position Details Job Type/FTE: Full-Time 1.0 FTE Shift: Days - 8 am - 8 pm, every other weekend Work Location: Onsite - Dearborn Station Unit/Department: Urgent Care CBA Code: Non-Union In this role, we anticipate that you will generally work approximately 40 hours per week. We anticipate that you will generally be scheduled to work the rotating shift, between the hours of 8:00 am - 8:00 pm and will not be scheduled for on-call shifts. We anticipate you will be scheduled to work 100% at the Dearborn Station Clinic. The days of the week that you are scheduled will vary depending on the week, but we anticipate that you will be scheduled to work every other weekend (Saturday & Sunday).
