Qualifications Valid CNA certification or PCA license required; prior experience in nursing homes or assisted living facilities preferred. Demonstrated experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia care needs. Knowledge of medical terminology, vital signs measurement, medication administration, and hospice or palliative care practices. Proficiency in using EMR/EHR systems for documentation purposes. CPR certification is required; additional training in catheter care or hospice care is a plus. Strong patient observation skills combined with compassionate caregiving abilities. Experience working within home health or community-based settings is highly desirable. Ability to work independently while maintaining excellent communication skills and professionalism.
