As a Certified Nurse Midwife, you will: • Provides direct antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and gynecologic patient services • Applies surgical skills and knowledge required to act as first assist in the Operating Room. • Collaborates with physicians. support staff, and ancillary departments to provide quality patient care • Performs History and physical examination in a timely manner • Maintains role/specialty competencies as well as keeping current with changes in practice, i.e., new equipment, medications, treatment modalities. • Actively participates in departmental peer review, staff meetings, in-service education and quality improvement processes. • Required to work on-call.
