The Clinical Nurse Outpatient is a key member of the UT MD Anderson, Lyndon B. Johnson Oncology Program. The primary purpose of the Clinical Nurse Outpatient is to provide individualized assistance to Medical Oncology patients, families, and caregivers in the coordination and communication of the patient's plan of care. The Clinical Nurse Outpatient collaborates with physicians, referring providers, and interdisciplinary teams to support continuity of care, patient education, and symptom management. Medical Oncology and Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification is preferred.
