Caregiver Seniors Helping Seniors® Sun City in-home care services brightens the lives of seniors who can benefit from a helping hand and a friendly smile. Our caregivers, who are seniors themselves, make life a little easier by providing compassionate care in the comfort our care receiver’s home. SHS empowers seniors to continue to live independent lives by taking care of day-to-day tasks that become more challenging as seniors age. Qualifications: Enjoy working with our senior population Be a caring, empathetic, compassionate and reliable individual Understand the importance of our services to our seniors Have positive attitude and be dedicated to our SHS mission High level of emotional intelligence Ability to follow detailed instructions to execute our care plan Maturity to deal effectively with the demands of the job Maintain the highest standards of customer service and professionalism set by SHS Be proactive to find other ways to help our seniors once all tasks have been completed Companionship and Homemaker Duties may include: Provide Companionship Assist with Light Housekeeping such as laundry, vacuuming, washing dishes, etc… Shopping and Errands Meal Preparation Medication Reminders Pet Care Light Yard Work Light Handyman Services Overnight Supervision Incidental Transportation to doctor’s appointments, family or their favorite restaurant Personal Care Duties may include: Assist with Dressing Assist with Feeding Assist with Showering / Bathing Mobility Assistance Assist with Toileting / Incontinence Memory Care Other Responsibilities: Arrive on time for all services Maintain documentation of all services provided on your Timesheet and the WellSky caregiver tool Record and report changes in the client’s physical condition, behavior or appearance to our office staff Communicate regularly and proactively with our office staff Participate in relevant in-service opportunities and other informational meeting when possible Log all care visits in the mobile app at the time of service, including time, task completion, and notes Compensation : $18/hour
