Support best practices in postpartum recovery, couplet care, newborn stabilization and monitoring, infant feeding, bonding, family education, discharge readiness, and connection to community resources . Ensure coordinated and compassionate care for newborns requiring Special Care Nursery services , including family integration, transfer planning, and collaboration with higher level neonatal centers when needed. Master's degree in nursing, healthcare administration, or a related field preferred. Experience Minimum of five years of progressive maternal newborn nursing experience required. Postpartum and Level II Special Care Nursery, Special Care Nursery, or comparable neonatal care experience required. Demonstrated Clinical Leadership Experience Required. Previous formal supervisory or nurse manager experience preferred. Licensure and certification Current Massachusetts registered nurse license required. Current BLS certification required. Current NRP certification required or must be obtained within three months of hire. National certification in maternal newborn nursing or neonatal nursing preferred.
