The Cardiothoracic Surgery Critical Care Advanced Practice Provider (APP) is a member of the Cardiothoracic Surgery ICU multidisciplinary team that includes physicians, residents, fellows, and RNs providing intensive care services to patients and families. The CTICU APP team provides 24/7 care for critically ill cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgical patients in a fast paced, high acuity unit including the care of ECMO patients and patients with mechanical circulatory support devices. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing independent and collaborative patient management from admission to the CTICU through transfer of care to the acute care setting. This position provides a faculty appointment at the rank of Teaching Associate in the Department of Surgery, with an anticipated start date in Spring 2026.
