Our team thrives in a fast-paced environment where collaboration, clinical excellence, and compassionate patient care are at the center of everything we do. 💙 Unit Overview The 7 HV Cardiac Medicine Unit provides intermediate-level care for patients with: Heart failure Dysrhythmias Myocardial infarctions Pre- and post-cardiac and vascular procedures Medical patients with significant cardiac histories and complex co-morbidities Each patient room is equipped with GE bedside monitors and in-room computers , supporting advanced patient monitoring and real-time documentation. Position Offering: Shift: Rotating shifts - current need is night shift with rotating weekend & holidays Hours: Full time; 36 hours per week; three 12 hour shifts a week Entity: UNC Medical Center Location: Chapel Hill, NC 4 Neurosciences is comprised of three adult units which serve specific mental health populations. Geropsychiatry is a 10-bed unit serving geriatric patients admitted for the management of multiple medical and mental health issues. Crisis Stabilization is a 15-bed unit with nursing care provided to patients hospitalized for stabilization during acute mental health episodes. Perinatal Psychiatry is a 5-bed unit solely focused on treatment of women with psychiatric disorders during pregnancy or post-partum. This position qualifies for an extensive benefit package including PTO hours, which ar accrued based on the number of worked hours. This position requires the ability to attend the required weeklong hospital orientation offered every two weeks.
