Since we care for communities with little access, most of our clinics qualify for tuition reimbursement grants or student loan reimbursement grants. Overview The Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) will work under the general supervision of their Medical Director all physician partners and their APP Manager in WakeMed Physician Practices to deliver competent medical care to patients at WakeMed. This position can consist of both inpatient and outpatient care depending on the needs of the service and is outlined in the clinical job expectations. This may include completion of referrals , consults , daily patient rounds , daily notes , discharge summaries , procedures , clinic notes , pre and post procedure care , prescribing , and patient care follow-ups. Will work closely with other healthcare providers in a collaborative multidisciplinary approach to maximize the care we provide to our patients. As a healthcare professional will function as an educator for PA/NP / CNM students from healthcare education programs.
