Scheduled Hours 40 Position Summary May lead the work of Medical Assistants in the clinical operation of a patient care setting; may lead the work of Medical Assistants I and II, and/or acts as the primary clinical resource in a large multi-physician clinical practice. Additional Information About the Role 5900 is a unique 30 bed unit that provides care to female patients hospitalized for female related issues, with the primary focus on GYN Oncology. This includes chemotherapy, surgery, radiation, symptom management, pain management, palliative care, and hospice care. The care is moderate to high acuity and includes high complexity interventions. Care is coordinated by a multidisciplinary team including oncology trained nurses, advanced practice nurses, case managers, social workers, spiritual care, pharmacy, psycho-social support and our physician team. Location ST. LOUIS, MO 63108 Scheduled Hours 40 Position Summary Provides direct patient care and education for patients receiving treatments, examinations, surgeries, etc., in a medical office according to established procedures. Work schedule and shifts: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm. Clinic overview: Nurse will be required to support providers in clinical setting. Nurse will be responsible for patient scheduling, OR scheduling, testing, medications and other others, patient education, pre-operative and post-operative care in an outpatient setting. The section has clinics in multiple locations and the nurse will be responsible to attend different clinic locations based on provider needs.
