Responsibilities The Urologist Physician Assistant or Nurse Pracititioner position is responsible for diagnosing and treating diseases or disorders of the genitourinary (GU) tract, assisting at surgery for urological disease or disorders for patients of the Garnet Health Doctors, and is responsible for care and treatment for patients in our clinics, hospitals, and facilities. Qualifications Physician Assistant: EDUCATION: P.A. degree from an accredited school. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS: Current Physician Assistant Licensure in New York State Graduate of an Accredited P.A. Program Current BLS Certification required Current ACLS Certification preferred Board Certification required. DEA registration valid and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner: EDUCATION : Masters in Nursing Required / Nurse Practitioner POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS: NYS Nurse Practitioner License- with Prescriptive Privileges DEA registration valid and unrestricted BLS certification required and ACLS certification preferred.
