Acts as liaison to patient during the scheduling process providing and communicating information on surgical/procedural date/time, itinerary, maps/directions and important information necessary for a positive experience. 23. Arranges pre- and post-operative appointments for assigned patients. 24. Processes patient communication; written, verbal, patient consults, data input, problem delegation/resolution and process improvement. 25. Organizes work time in order complete tasks in assigned timeframe; identifies and escalates issues as appropriate, to leader in a timely manner. 26. Schedules interviews for appropriate departments prior to intervention/surgery, if applicable. 27. Acts as revenue custodian by accurately completing and processing case updates, procedures and supply charges for assigned department(s), if applicable. 28. Performs other duties as assigned.
