Responsibilities The Director of Nursing is responsible for all aspects of nursing care delivery in the facility. They will assume responsibility as a department lead of the OR, Preop, and PACU. The Director of Nursing is also responsible for overseeing the facilities quality improvement, risk management, infection control, and education of the teammates. The successful candidate will: Provide leadership oversight to ensure patient needs are met in accordance with instructions of physician and facility’s policies & procedures. Demonstrate respect for co-workers & leadership and develops positive working relationships within departments. Provide direction to others that is clear, concise and promotes efficiency throughout the clinical areas of the facility. Recognize legal policy limits and individual practice. Qualifications Associates degree in nursing required, a bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred. Current RN licensure. 2 years Nursing Management experience preferred. Successful completion of BLS Course within 90 days of employment or documentation of current BLS certification. Location: Parkland: 3rd FLR BLK 300 Full Time - Evening Shift PRIMARY PURPOSE The RN is a licensed professional who uses the Parkland nursing professional practice model to coordinate patient care delivery, that focuses on a particular patient population(s)/specific health condition, by the health care team. Senior Registered Nurse - Ambulatory Surgery Center

Location: Ambulatory Surgery Center Shift- Days Work Days: 7am-3:30pm (Monday- Friday) Employment Type: Full Time **This position will be in the Ortho, Plastics & Pain floor in the Ambulatory Surgery Center** Primary Purpose The RN is a licensed professional who uses the Parkland nursing professional practice model to coordinate patient care delivery by the health care team. Using the nursing process, the RN assesses the patient, identifies nursing diagnoses based on responses to health problems, develops and implements an individualized plan of care, and evaluates the patient's response. The RN utilizes knowledge of patient needs and the healthcare environment to assist patients to transition through the healthcare encounter without any preventable complications or delays. The RN delegates interventions to health care personnel based on the Texas Nursing Practice Act, each patient's condition and the competencies of the employee. MINIMUM SPECIFICATIONS Education Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing. Experience Must have two years of nursing experience. Certification/Registration/Licensure Must have current, valid RN license or temporary RN license from the Texas Board of Nursing, or valid Compact RN license. Must have current healthcare provider BLS for Healthcare Providers certification from one of the following: American Heart Association American Red Cross Military Training Network Skills or Special Abilities Provides care for assigned patient population in accordance with the current State of Texas Nurse Practice Act, established protocols, multidisciplinary plan of care, and clinical area specific standards.
