Our unit population includes cardiovascular, respiratory, surgical, ortho-neuro, and various other medical conditions. Patients admitted to this unit require intermediate care which includes critical care thinking, accurate assessment skills, and exceptional communication with providers. Our nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:3, allowing the nurse to collaborate with the interdisciplinary health care delivery team, the patient and their family for a coordinated plan of care.
