A well-established skilled nursing facility is seeking a hands-on MDS Director (RN) to lead the assessment process and support strong clinical and reimbursement outcomes. This is a leadership role in a structured, supportive environment focused on teamwork, accountability, and quality care . Schedule This position offers a hybrid schedule : 3 days per week onsite 2 days per week work-from-home Schedule set by the facility New hires will be onsite full-time for the first 3 months for training, orientation, and facility integration. After this period, hybrid eligibility will be based on performance and operational needs. Department/Unit: Perioperative PRN Work Shift: Day (United States of America) Salary Range: $70,068.00 - $108,605.00 RN Educator is a nurse who, through clinical experience, study and supervise practice in patient care and has gained expertise in a specific specialty area of patient care services. Position is for VIR Nursing • Demonstrates the advanced knowledge and skills required for specialty nursing in peri-procedural nursing care, conscious sedation, PACU nursing, and critical care. • Responsible and accountable for the development and application of specialty practice standards, staff development, regulatory compliance and research to enhance the quality of care to the patient and the patient’s family. • The RN Educator is essential to the management of complex patient and systems related issues. • Master degree in Nursing preferred. Must hold current New York State Registered Nurse registration and certification or eligible for licensure in New York State. • Demonstrated clinical competence and in depth knowledge in specialty area. • Creates a collegial and collaborative environment among all members of the healthcare team.
