Overview POSITION SUMMARY: The Ambulatory Charge Nurse champions nursing care standards and supports the needs of the practice while aligning policy and competency. They assist in overseeing and directing the work of the clinical care team, precept new care team members, and provide direct patient care. They lead by example and demonstrate accountability for ensuring safe, high quality patient care, enhancing the patient and family experience, and providing effective leadership that contributes to OSF Mission, Vision and Values. They determine work priorities and assist with resolving operational and patient care needs.
