Minimum Pay: $18.21 Position Overview Prepares exam rooms for patient encounters and assists LIP as requested. Directs patients to examination rooms; assists in preparing patients for examination; assists patients in undressing, dressing and getting on and off of the examination table. Notifies provider of patient's arrival and readiness for their examination. Assists providers with patient examinations. Reviews charts prior to patients' scheduled appointment to assure that all requested lab work and diagnostic procedures have been completed and that reports have been returned and are accessible to the provider. Records medical history, current medications, treatments, and problem list accurately. Obtains and records patient vital signs, temperature, pulse, and blood pressure and reason for visit. Assists with patient equipment downloads, utilizing a variety of medical device software programs and printing appropriate reports for LIP review accurately and in a timely manner. Assists with medication reconciliation process, reviewing and accurately documenting patient medications. Accurately and efficiently performs all clerical duties as needed, including but not limited to patient registration, billing, answering phones, scheduling appointments, and initiating, maintaining and filing medical records. Assists with equipment cleaning, disinfection, and pasteurization, documenting appropriately according to standardized protocols. Disseminates and communicates accurate patient information appropriate to the patient's disorder. Accurately inputs data in the registration, electronic medical record, database and scheduling systems according to established procedures. Assists patients to complete essential paperwork and questionnaires. Assures exam rooms are cleaned after each patient and appropriately stocked with necessary supplies, equipment and forms. Practices proper infection control techniques. Cross-trained to perform Patient Reception Rep job duties as needed. Salary Range: $110,000 - $120,000 The Opportunity The Director of Health & Wellness is part of the Care Services Team and will be responsible in overseeing the comprehensive care services provided to our residents. Maintain a current knowledge of OSHA and state regulations and routinely monitor community compliance with regulations related to resident care. Effective and efficient organization and staffing of the Resident Services Department. Monitor the outcomes of Resident Services activities by evaluating staff performance, ensuring compliance with community and State Regulations, and monitoring the effective and efficient use of budgeted resources. Ensure sound infection control practices are in place that promote a healthy environment and ensure all required infection control training is met. Direct staff to provide quality and appropriate resident care that meets or exceeds company and regulatory standards. Assure the completion of team members schedules with ongoing monitoring of schedules to assure staffing requirements are met. Ensure adequate staffing levels, lead interviewing and all hiring activities for direct reports including orientation, onboarding, and performance reviews. Educate team members on completing and following up on incident reports, particularly regarding falls and ensuring incident reports are completed thoroughly and timely. Responsibilities include leadership, customer service, safety, resident care and communication. What You’ll Bring POSITION REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as an RN in the State. Must possess current CPR Certificate. Must possess a valid State drivers' license based on property requirements & State law. Ability to pass State and Company criminal background/drug screens. Two years’ experience in an assisted living environment desired. Working knowledge of pertinent State Regulations.
