Essential Job Responsibilities: The RN provides care to patients who have been diagnosed with a terminal illness. The Hospice RN regularly reviews and updates the plan of care. The home health aide is responsible for observing patients, reporting these observations, and documenting observations and care performed. The home health aide will be assigned by a Registered Nurse in a manner that promotes the quality, continuity, and safety of a patient's care.
