Caregiver Job Duties Our caregivers support their clients in activities of daily living such as (but not limited to): Household chores (cleaning, laundry, dishes, etc.) Cooking and/or serving meals Helping clients bathe, dress, and groom Providing companionship through daily activities and hobbies Driving clients (as needed) to the store or appointments Monitoring and reporting on their condition Additional Information Our hiring process is fast and simple! Once you have completed onboarding, orientation, and training, you can start working with clients! Washington only – If you do not have a current HCA or CNA license, you will be required to enroll in our HCA training program we offer (due to state requirements). You will be required to complete the training within 120 days. Oregon only – If you have not previously completed the state-required 8-hour Home Care Pulse caregiver training, you will be required to complete the training along with the nurse-led medication training before you can work with clients. You will be paid to complete both trainings! Requirements 18 years+ Ability to lift a minimum of 10lbs and up to 50lb rarely. Medical Assistant Certified- Per Diem

The Medical Assistant Certified performs those duties requested by the health care provider that are designated in RCW 18.360, Assists in examination and treatment of patients under the direction of Physician or Mid-Level Provider. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Interviews patients, measures vital signs, such as pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height, and records information on patients charts. Hands instruments and materials to doctor as directed. Cleans and sterilizes instruments. Inventories and orders medical supplies and materials. Operates electrocardiograph (EKG), and other equipment to administer routine diagnostic test or calls medical facility or department to schedule patients for tests. Prepare patient for examinations. Gives injections or treatments, and performs routine laboratory tests. Collect previous lab reports, x-rays, chart notes and old records. Keep contents of patient files up to date and keys data for patient records. Perform venous and capillary invasive procedures for blood withdrawal. Perform intradermal (including skin tests), subcutaneous and intramuscular injections for diagnostic agents as designated in RCW 18.360.05 QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. MA-C Certification: Must be eligible for Health Care Assistant Certification in State of Washington. Must obtain Medical Assistant Certification. Must obtain BLS within six months of employment.
