Previous Pediatric Transport experience preferred. License(s): Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing, or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC). Certifications: Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association required upon hire. NRP required within 6 months of hire. PALS required within 6 months of hire. ACLS required within 6 months or hire. Certified Registered Nurse specializing in Neonatal and Pediatric Transport obtained within 24 months of hire. Certified Registered Nurse specializing in Flight obtained within 24 months of hire. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, procedures, and laws. Ability to organize, plan, coordinate and evaluate nursing services and apply nursing techniques. Ability to maintain good working relationships with other employees, and external referral sources. Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors. Basic computer charting skills.
