The APP will provide assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic illnesses in patients of all ages. This position plays a key role in ensuring a consistent, patient-centered experience across multiple clinic locations. Essential Job Responsibilities Provide high-quality, evidence-based medical care to patients presenting with urgent and non-emergent conditions. Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad range of illnesses and injuries in patients of all ages. Order and interpret diagnostic tests and prescribe medications as indicated. Maintain comprehensive, accurate, and timely medical records for all patient encounters. Ensure the consistency, quality, and safety of all clinical services provided within OSF OnCall Urgent Care. Collaborate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare team members to deliver coordinated patient care. Educate patients and families regarding medical conditions, treatment plans, and preventive health measures. Deliver a personalized, patient-centric experience consistent with OSF HealthCare’s Mission and Values. This is a float position - APP will be expected to travel to any clinic within the OCUC platform. Mileage and travel time is reimbursed. Range shown should be used as an estimate and can be impacted by many factors including but not limited to the critical need of the position, overall experience and qualifications, community need, and other considerations. Additional compensation components may be applicable such as bonuses or incentives which may or may not be based on metric achievement. Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Master of Science in Nursing or Master of Physician Assistant Studies Other Skills/Knowledge: Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care that is appropriate to the ages of the patients served. License/Certifications: Licensed to provide either an advanced practice nursing services in the State of Illinois as issued by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation in accordance with the Illinois Nurse Practice Act] OR [physician assistant services as issued by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation in accordance with the Illinois Physician Assistant Practice Act of 1987 ("Act") Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and State of Illinois for prescribing of narcotics.
