Resolves individual relation issues. Identifies and reports issues related to individual care, operation, and quality outcomes. Identifies potential conflict situations and facilitates solutions. Registered Nurse Supervisor 1 (T&RC) Plans, directs, and supervises nursing services on an assigned unit, including direct supervision of Registered Nurse 1 (T&RC) and other staff. Directs the development and implementation of nursing care plans on a unit. Provides individual care, and functions as an educator and nursing services expert. Assesses work methods of nursing staff and provides feedback to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of care delivered. Description Medical Office Specialist (Medical Assistant)-Primary Care/Teaching-New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai-Full Time, Days, 9:45am to 6pm, M-F, Possible Weekends The Medical Office Specialist offers clinical and medical office support to physicians and surgeons. Assists in patient care and administrative duties necessary to deliver quality patient care. Performs various duties as a member of the health team in the treatment and care of patient and their families and also assists with tasks to support the unit. Participates and supports the health team in the direct patient care under the supervision of an RN/LPN or MD. Responsibilities Monitors patient flow in waiting room and resolves patient flow issues related to registration and post-visit processing Provides set-up of examination room and instruments in accordance with proper techniques established by hospital and infection control policies. Compensation The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides salary ranges that comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $61.8296 - $61.8296 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and operational need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.

Job Summary Provides general medical care under the direction of a licensed provider to patients in an outpatient clinic setting. This position works directly with a franchised business location. The specific job duties and benefits can vary between franchises. Responsibilities Obtain patient vitals, medical history, and reason for visit, and prepare the patient for a physical exam Explain prescribed procedures and treatments to patients Ensure all ordered tests are performed accurately and in a timely manner Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with the approved procedure Draw blood and preparation labs for reference lab processing and/or in-house processing Perform laboratory tests, lab-quality controls, and equipment maintenance according to written instructions Respond to all lab messages and call back requests Perform all drug screening procedures in accordance with established rules and regulations Ensure patient immunizations are well documented and administered in accordance with the approved procedure Conduct physician referrals as well as service pre-certifications on an as-needed basis Prepare exam rooms; sterilize instruments, equipment, and supplies for procedures Maintain complete and accurate documentation Other duties and responsibilities as assigned Qualifications You must be CERTIFIED or REGISTERED and have an active BLS.
