Job Summary and Qualifications As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in line with the requirements of the department and the standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. Collaborating with medical providers and the care team, you will provide personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care, following established nursing models such as "Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage." What you will do in this role: Applies the nursing process to a group of patients. Documents all aspects of patient care efficiently and effectively, utilizing Meditech EMR. Performs assessments and delivers care in a timely manner to facilitate the timely disposition of the ER patients, considering the acuity of the patients and patient satisfaction. Demonstrates ability to interpret patient’s EKG and manage EKG monitoring/telemetry. Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred. Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License (Employees with RN Compact License are required to obtain Texas RN License within 90 days of hire date) Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS issued from American Heart Association required TNCC within 6 months of hire date 1 year of clinical ER experience as a licensed RN required.
