Description The Nurse Manager (NM) is responsible for the management of nursing practice and operations on a designated unit/service setting such as inpatient, procedural, emergency department or ambulatory care. This includes, but is not limited to, the management of: clinical nursing practice, staff recruitment, retention, labor relations, supply chain and budget, daily staffing (as supported by the Center-Led Staffing Model), employee performance evaluation, quality improvement, staff education, medical record documentation, compliance with internal and external regulatory agency requirements and patient safety solution/corrective action plans.
