Summary The Concord Endoscopy Center (CEC) LNA provides direct and indirect patient care duties under the guidance and direction of the registered nurse. The CEC LNA assists the physician and registered nurse during endoscopy procedures and is responsible for the care and processing of associated endoscopy equipment. The CEC LNA may perform direct patient care including ADL's, assisting with transport of patients through the continuum of patient care, perform treatments and procedures under the direction and supervision of the registered nurse. The CEC LNA may provide patient support systems with additional training such as clerical/registration support, data entry, and capillary glucose testing. Education Some additional training beyond high school, but less than an Associates Degree. Must have completed a State of NH approved Licensed Nursing Assistant course. We are currently seeking Wound Care Nurse Practitioners to provide wound services to patients living in long-term care facilities. WOUND NP ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide wound care services for long-term care patients residing in skilled nursing facilities. Prescribe appropriate medications, including controlled substances in accordance with NH Law. Order, review, and/or follow-up with treatments and diagnostic testing. WOUND NP QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Current, unrestricted NP license in the state of New Hampshire. Board Certification. DEA licensure (Optional) Clinical background in adult, family, or geriatric specialties. Clinical background of wound care; including but not limited to chronic, debilitating, stalled, or infected wounds Must be comfortable with diagnosing and treating diabetic, arterial, venous, and mixed etiology wounds or Kennedy Ulcers. Must be comfortable staging pressure injuries according to the NPIAP Must be familiar with wound care best practice and advanced wound care products; collagens, alginates, foams, silvers, etc. Must have experience with wound vacs and other DME, such as pressure relieving/ reducing devices Strong preference to having wound certification or be open to getting certified Experience working in a long-term care setting. Ability to work with an EMR. Ability to work within an interdisciplinary care team to coordinate patient care.
