Nursing Responsibilities: Assess, plan, and deliver comprehensive healthcare to patients by providing the following: Administer medications Perform medical intakes and asses if patient is fit for incarceration, as needed Respond to sick call requests and follow up with the medical provider when needed Check and/or change medical dressings as required by the medical provider Performing 14-day physicals Managing chronic care Providing patient education on health concerns Responding to medical emergencies Be capable of performing life saving measures and ability to take charge and give direction in an emergency Maintain working knowledge of pharmacology, including but not limited to drug reaction/overdose, formulary/non-formulary medications, and knowledge of medication costs Be able to provide insight and direction to Medically Trained Personnel, as needed. Evaluate and implement recommendations from established committees as they pertain to the assessment and/or care plan functions of the health campus. What We're Looking For: Altra Homecare Group is seeking compassionate, independent individuals to join our team as a PCA, HHA, CNA or those with no prior experience. As a professional caregiver, you will be responsible for critical key personal care services curated to meet the specific needs of our clients. Responsibilities: Assist with client laundry as needed Provide medication reminders Ensure client safety Report significant changes in the client's condition directly to their supervisor Prepare light meals and assist with client feeding when required Monitor and record client temperature Assist client's with ambulation Conduct range of motion exercises and other simple physical activities Maintain comprehensive documentation and adhere to care protocols Follow privacy policies and infection control guidelines Offer bathing assistance Perform light housekeeping Provide companion services, including letter-writing and reading Requirements: Must be 18 years of age or older Possess a valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance Ability to read, follow written instructions, and document care provided Comply with training requirements as per State and Federal laws Benefits: Comprehensive health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Competitive weekly pay ($14 - $17/hr.)
