In this role you will: Travel to members’ homes and community settings to deliver episodic, longitudinal, and urgent pediatric care. Collaborate within an integrated care team including physicians, APPs, nurses, pharmacists, dietitians, navigators, social workers, and therapists. Conduct and document in‑home assessments; perform procedures such as ear irrigation, point‑of‑care testing, IV placement and lab draws, wound care, and medication administration. Provide patient and family education, follow‑up care, and care coordination using the Imagine Pediatrics platform. Job Summary The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) is at the forefront of Proactive MD’s clinical operations and is a champion of our Patient Promise: “We are only and always about the patient. Health Center Hours Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 7:30am-4:30pm Friday 7:30am-12pm 32 Hours per week Essential Duties And Responsibilities Assists with treatments ordered by provider as supervised by provider or registered nurse. Performs select clinical duties Interviews patients measure vital signs and record information on patients' charts. Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients Performs basic clerical duties including answering the phone, maintaining records, and filing Performs basic materials management functions to include ordering and stocking supplies. Assists with maintaining a clean and orderly environment May document the provider's encounter with patients. Lists all proper diagnoses and symptoms, as well as follow-up instructions and prescriptions, as indicated by the provider. Transcribes patient orders including, but not limited to, laboratory tests, radiology tests, and medications Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Ability to draw blood and confident in blood draw skills High school diploma or equivalent.
